Studio Kurtycz is a creative space based in The Hague (The Netherlands) after seven years working in Africa. Using woodcut printing as a departure point, we apply a diverse set of techniques to develop our artistic projects, workshops and publications in interaction with local population.
In 2008 Studio Kurtycz initiated the research project “Marcos Kurtycz Vida y Muerte de un Impresor” in order to organise the information about the artist, make an inventory of the available art work and to provide researchers and general public with accurate information.
A book containing the first findings of this research will be issued in 2016. Two exhibitions will complete this first part of the project.
